In the morning of September 25, the Russian army carried out an airstrike on one of the micro-districts of the city of Kherson.
This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
The post says that the building of the cultural institution was destroyed by a guided aerial bomb. There was a fire in the building. The firefighters had to put out the fire in extremely difficult conditions, because there was a constant threat of repeated attacks and the activity of enemy UAVs. Despite all the threats, the fire was extinguished.
The press service also added that Berylslav rescuers extinguished two fires, one of which was caused by Russian shelling. So, at night, the Russian army struck one of the settlements of the Novorai Territorial Community. After the shelling, a fire broke out in a residential building, which the firefighters managed to quickly put out together with the local fire brigade. Also this morning firefighters received a call about a residential building in the village of Novoraysk. The fire has been extinguished. The causes of this fire are being established.
In addition, on September 24, rescuers from the Kherson region extinguished three fires in open areas, one of which was caused by enemy shelling. The total extinguishing area was 1 ha. Three units of equipment and 15 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fires.
