The roof was pierced by the iron, and the walls and ceilings were gutted

The police spoke about the consequences of the night attack in Nikopol on May 25. The Russians did not leave the district alone all night.

According to the police, on May 25, at 11:15 p.m., another heavy artillery attack began on the residential quarters of Nikopol. The Russian army also directed a drone at the city. The villages of Marganetska and Chervonogrihorivska communities also came under fire.

As a result of the strikes, apartment buildings, private homes, farm buildings, garages, cars, educational and medical institutions, shops, trade pavilions, and power lines were damaged in Nikopol. In the buildings, enemy iron bars pierced the roof, gutted walls and ceilings, blew out glass on windows and balconies, mutilated doors and people’s property.

People, fortunately, survived.

For each fact of Russian aggression, criminal proceedings have been opened under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigations are ongoing at the scene of the attack.
