On the evening of April 9, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with “Shaheed” drones on Kyiv, as a result of which buildings were set on fire and apartments were destroyed in the city.
Chairman Vitaliy Klitschko reported on the attack by Russian drones.
“As a result of falling debris, a fire broke out on the 4th floor of a four-story building in the Podilskyi district of the capital,” Klitschko wrote at 10:30 p.m.
40 minutes after that, the fire in the building was localized.
After midnight, the debris of the “Shaheeds” fell on the territory of warehouses in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital.
“As a result of falling debris of a downed UAV, a fire was recorded in a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi district,” the Kyiv City Military Administration noted.
In addition, at 1:30 a.m. on April 10, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a private building in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv had been destroyed by falling debris.
“A person has been previously blocked. Rescuers are heading to the scene,” the Kyiv City Military Administration emphasized.
There is no information about the casualties from the Russian attack.
