The Russian army attacked the power supply of the Mykolaiv region: part of the region was cut off

On the night of January 3, Russian troops massively attacked the Mykolaiv region with attack drones. The critical infrastructure of the region was hit.

Part of the Mykolaiv district was cut off. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaly Kim.

After the night Russian attack, a number of settlements in the region were left without electricity.

“At night, the Russians carried out a massive attack with UAVs of the “Shahed-131/136″ type on the critical infrastructure of the region. As a result, part of the settlements of the Mykolaiv district were cut off from electricity. Since the night, the power supply has been carried out by the power supply workers. There have been no casualties,” Kim noted.

Meanwhile, in Mykolaiv itself, there have been problems with the water supply: water is supplied to the apartments of the townspeople with reduced pressure. However, this is not related to the Russian attacks.

“An emergency situation occurred outside the city, not related to shelling. Because of this, water is currently being supplied with reduced pressure. Specialists are already on site and are working to restore the supply. The work should be completed approximately by the end of the day on January 3,” said chairman Oleksandr Senkevych.

The Mykolaiv district, or rather the suburbs of the regional center, were under Russian attack the day before. The Russians struck with an attack drone, probably a Molniya UAV.

“The gas station building and two cars were damaged. There were no casualties,” stated the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration.

The Russian attack on the Kutsurubsky community, during which they used an FPV drone, also passed without casualties. Kim did not mention whether any destruction was recorded as a result of the attack.
