The Russians hit Nikopol twice with heavy artillery: a five-story building was damaged, one was injured

A 35-year-old woman was wounded by shrapnel as a result of Russian shelling of Nikopol on June 13. Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said the victim will be treated at home.

Prior to that, the shelling of Nikopol took place on June 11: then a medical facility and three private houses were damaged, and there were no casualties. On June 8, a 30-year-old man was injured in the city, a store warehouse, an administrative building, a hotel, and four five-story buildings were damaged. On the eve of this, in Nikopol, the Russians gutted a gymnasium and two private enterprises with fire from heavy artillery

The Russians hit a children’s boarding school in Sumy region

The Russian military shelled the Sumy region with artillery and mortars, hitting a children’s boarding school.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

“At night and in the morning, the Russians carried out 8 shellings of border communities. 27 explosions were recorded. Esmansk, Bilopolsk, and Seredino-Budsk communities came under fire,” the message says.

In particular, 16 mortar explosions and 5 barrel artillery explosions were recorded in the Bilopol community. As a result of the attack, the roof of the assembly hall of the orphanage caught fire.

The Russians dropped 4 mines on the Seredino-Budsk community. The store was damaged as a result of the shelling. While mortar fire was recorded in the Esman community, residents heard two explosions.

During June 12, Russian troops carried out 12 shellings of the Sumy region, while 55 explosions were recorded. As a result, 7 territorial communities were attacked.
