The Russian army has once again shot Ukrainian prisoners of war

Russian troops continue to commit war crimes – in the Kursk region, the Russians shot Ukrainian prisoners of war, probably from the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade. This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets.

The Ombudsman noted that a video with the alleged execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war on the indicated section of the front is currently spreading on social networks.

“According to one of the Ukrainian fighters, these are soldiers of the 82nd brigade. The footage shows how the Russian occupier deliberately shoots a Ukrainian prisoner of war in the head,” Lubinets noted.

He emphasized that the shooting of Ukrainian prisoners of war is yet another proof of the inhuman cruelty of Russian troops.

Lubinets emphasized that such actions of the Russian military are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and all norms of international humanitarian law.
