On the night of September 3, Russian troops targeted residential areas of the Korabelny district of Kherson, causing significant destruction.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko: “On the night of September 3, Russian troops from the temporarily occupied left bank shelled the Korabelny district – they targeted residential areas. The destruction is significant, since Russian shells “flew” exactly into houses where peaceful Kherson residents were sleeping. Human casualties were miraculously avoided.”
According to him, social workers from the Kherson city military administration left for the sites of the shelling in the morning. They talked with the victims, provided the necessary consultations and planned priority measures to eliminate the consequences.
The utility workers will begin work as soon as the security situation allows. If necessary, volunteers will be involved to help people get their homes in order as soon as possible.
The city military administration also reported that in the morning the Russians shelled the village of Zelenivka. The Russians fired on residential areas. Outbuildings were damaged. As a result of the shelling of Zelenivka, a 55-year-old local resident suffered an acute stress reaction. She was provided with the necessary medical assistance on the spot. The victim refused hospitalization.
