In the evening of September 20, the Russian Federation struck the territory of a civilian facility in the central part of Kharkiv and the private sector in the Kholodnohirsky district of the city. Infrastructure objects and private houses were damaged as a result of the strike.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the Russian attack, 13 people were injured, three of them minors.
Rescuers of the State Emergency Service extinguished the car and the dry grass fire at two different locations.
“This is not the first hit nearby. The first was in December, before the New Year. They just finished the repairs: windows were inserted, plaster, ceilings were restored. And then another hit,” said the head of the medical facility, Ruslan Vragov.
Eight victims were treated, two children and one adult are in a light condition, the rest are in an average condition.
“These patients already wanted to rest. It was almost curfew. As a result of the impact, our hospital was damaged: it is a four-story building, a two-story building, a nine-story building was hit. Windows flew out, plaster fell off, the ceiling collapsed – there was a lot of damage,” Vragov said.
