The army of the Russian Federation struck the city of Seredyna-Buda and the villages of Ukrainyske, Vilna Sloboda, Khodyne and Starykove of the Shostky district, as well as Gorky, Boyaro Lezhachi and Simeykyne of the Konotop district of the Sumy region.
This is stated in the message of the “North” Operational Command.
“Sumy region. Konotopsky district: Gorky – 2 rows, probably a 120 mm mortar; Boyaro Lezhachi – 16 parishes, probably AGS… Simeykyne – 11 parishes, probably 120 mm mortar. Shostkinsky district: Seredyna-Buda – 3 rows, probably 82 mm mortar; Ukrainian – 2 come, probably a 120 mm mortar; Vilna Sloboda – 2 come, probably a 120 mm mortar; Khodyno – 8 parishes, presumably barrel artillery; Starykovo – 5 parishes, presumably a 120 mm mortar,” the summary reads.
The Russians also shelled the villages of Karpovychi, Liskivshchyna, Gremyach, and Kamin of the Novgorod-Siversky district, as well as the villages of Khrinivka and Klyusy of the Koryukiv district of the Chernihiv region, with mortars and barrel artillery.

A total of 15 shellings (128 explosions) from various types of weapons were counted on August 26. Information about the dead among the local population has not been recorded.
All settlements that came under fire are located near the state border with the Russian Federation (Bryansk and Kursk regions).
On the night of August 27, the Russians launched a missile attack on Ukraine.
