On the morning of May 22, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region. As a result of a Russian shell hitting a house, a 54-year-old woman died on the spot, and her 27-year-old daughter received open craniocerebral and mine-explosive injuries, as well as shrapnel wounds to the legs, head and neck, the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office reports. The injured are under medical supervision.
In the afternoon, Russian troops launched a “Lancet” drone over the village of Raihorodok. The drone hit the area near a shop. A 51-year-old saleswoman was mortally wounded, and another 39-year-old woman, who was selling at the market at the time of the attack, received shrapnel and mine-explosive injuries.
Both victims were taken to a medical facility.
Russian troops began to carry out more frequent air strikes on Kostyantynivka, where about nine thousand residents still live. The Russian army also uses FPV drones to control all access roads to this city.
