“The binding of the letters was broken in places, we need the surveyors to carry out an inspection. The destruction that needs to be done with the help of restorers is, first of all, our doors, which are historical. They are shaped, and it is clear that a simple craftsman will not do it,” said the director of the state historical and cultural reserve Oleg Pohorilets.
The large-scale fortress complex consists of two main buildings – the old palace in the Renaissance style and the new one in the Baroque style. At one time, the castle served as an outpost of the country’s defense against the attack of the Turkish-Tatar invaders. Now there is a museum where you can see a collection of guns, paintings, clothing and household items.
The other day, the museum opened an exhibition of artifacts, which presents almost a hundred rare exhibits that tell about the history of Medzhibozh.

At the beginning of August, the most valuable steppe area in the Dzharylgatsky National Natural Park, which is a zone of absolute protection, where the visit of people is limited, burned.
