In the Ternopil region, a fire at an energy facility that was damaged as a result of a drone attack was localized. According to the Ternopil regional military administration, extinguishing is ongoing. As a result of the attacks, an energy supply facility was damaged, which is responsible for the energy supply of almost the entire region. Rescuers quickly localized the fire. Due to the drone attacks, people and equipment were evacuated to ensure the safety of rescuers. The fire was contained at 7:51 a.m., but work at the facility will continue for several more days due to the complexity of the situation, – representatives of the State Emergency Service reported. As a result of the attack, 70% of the Ternopil region was left without electricity.
On the night of November 26, the Russians attacked the electrical infrastructure of Ternopil, which led to a temporary stoppage of trolleybus traffic. Work is currently underway to restore and eliminate the consequences of the shelling, – said the head of the Ternopil regional military administration, Vyacheslav Negoda. No information was received about the victims.
