The Russian Federation dropped an aerial bomb on a shop near Lozova, Kharkiv region. According to Serhiy Zelenskyi, the head of the Loziv community, Tsaredarivka was attacked on the morning of December 8.
KAB is a guided aerial bomb. Such a bomb is dropped from an aircraft, and in order to launch the KABU, the aircraft do not have to enter the air defense zone. The flight range of the KAB is from 50 to 120 km. It depends on the carrier parameters (speed and height). The higher and faster the plane drops the KAB, the further the bomb will fly. Weight – from 500 to 1500 kg.
KABs do not have a very high impact accuracy. Russian pilots release an aerial bomb not on a target, but on a certain sector, and in the event of a hit, the bombs cause enormous destruction. A few such bombs can completely destroy a five-story building.
