The Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the Odesa region: residential buildings were damaged, a couple was killed

The Russians probably used a missile with a cluster warhead.

On the evening of September 14, the Russians fired a missile at the Odesa district. As a result of the attack, private residential buildings were damaged. A married couple died, there are injured.

Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, reported on the attack by the Russians. According to preliminary data, the Russians used a missile with a cluster warhead, which is prohibited. Rescue workers, medics and law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the impact.

“As a result of a Russian missile attack, previously with a prohibited cluster warhead, residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged in the suburbs of Odesa. During the survey, the bodies of two victims were found: a man and a woman born in 1958 and 1962,” said the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

He added that a 65-year-old woman was also wounded by shrapnel. She was taken to the hospital in moderate condition.

Under the procedural leadership of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Surveys of the attack sites are ongoing, and a full list of destruction and damage is currently being established.

“Prosecutors and investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by Russian servicemen,” the message reads.

The shelling of Odesa and the region does not stop. Almost every day, the Russians attack with rockets and Shaheds. On the night of September 14, the Russians attacked the suburbs, damaged residential buildings, garages, farm buildings, and cars. The air defense forces of the region worked for three hours in a row to repel the attack of the Russians.
