The Russian Federation plans mass resettlement of Russians and Belarusians to Zaporizhzhia

Russia planned the mass settlement of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region with its citizens, Belarusians and even Kazakhs. In this way, they want to “extinguish” the Ukrainian resistance.

Ivan Fedorov, the chairman of Melitopol and the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, told about it.

According to Fedorov, the Kremlin plans to settle the occupied territories not only with Russians, but also with residents of Belarus and Kazakhstan. This plan of the Russians was called ” Zaporizhzhia virgin land”.

“They are trying to carry out mass resettlement of citizens of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territory. And not only citizens of the Russian Federation. They are ready to buy personnel so that they move to the temporarily occupied territory, settle in our captured apartments and houses, and thus solve their demographic problems,” Fedorov explained.

Russian troops occupied territories along the shores of the Sea of Azov in the first months of the full-scale invasion. The cities of Melitopol, Berdyansk and Tokmak became the main points of the Russians.

Oleksandr Yakovlev, the chairman of Skadovsk, said that there are far fewer local residents in the city now than there are “immigrants” from Russia.
