
In the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region, three civilians were injured by the attacks of the Russian troops.
This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office: “On February 26, 2024, the army of the aggressor state shelled the city of Krasnohorivka and the villages of Romanivka and Kostyantynivka of the Pokrovsky district with artillery. Two women, 54 and 79 years old, and 52- year-old man. All the victims during the attacks of the Russian troops were on the street, near their own homes,” the report says.
As noted, citizens with mine-explosive injuries, torn body wounds and shrapnel wounds were taken to the hospital, where they were provided with qualified medical assistance.
In addition, residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged by debris.
Prosecutors take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian military.
Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation is carried out in criminal proceedings on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code).
