The Russian Federation struck an energy facility in the Sumy region, leaving more than 20,000 consumers without power

Russian troops attacked an energy facility in the Sumy region. More than 21,000 consumers were left without electricity.

On October 23, Russians attacked one of the energy facilities in the Bilopol community. As a result, more than 21,000 consumers were cut off. Energy workers revived them on reserve lines.

In total, as of 12:00 on October 23, more than 8,000 electricity consumers are without power.

According to energy experts, the Sumy district, as well as Glukhivska, Bilopolska, Seredino-Budska, Putivlska, Velikopysarivska, and Konotopska communities suffer the most from shelling.

Russian troops have recently stepped up attacks on energy facilities in the Sumy region. For example, on October 20, Russian troops struck an energy facility in the Sumy region. More than 100 settlements remained without electricity.

On the night of October 23, the Russians launched more than 80 drones and an Kh-31P missile over Ukraine. Air defense shot down 57 UAVs. In particular, in the Sumy region, air defense shot down almost 20 drones of the Russian Federation.
