The Russian Federation struck residential areas of Kherson: children and the elderly were among the victims

The Russian army shelled Kherson and its surroundings, causing heavy damage to houses, schools and other objects. There are dead and wounded.

Russian troops continue shelling the right-bank part of the Kherson region. Kherson, its suburbs and several settlements of the region came under fire, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The attacks were carried out with the use of artillery, drones, and rocket launchers.

Among the affected settlements are Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Zimivnyk and others.

Residential buildings, schools, kindergartens and cars were destroyed as a result of shelling. 43 objects were damaged, including apartment buildings, cultural institutions and libraries.

In one of the shelled areas, a 76-year-old woman received multiple injuries.

Two teenagers were injured as a result of a drone strike in Antonivka – one of them sustained shrapnel wounds.

In the Central District of Kherson, Russian troops dropped bombs on residential areas and a school. Administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities were destroyed, 20 people were injured, including two children.
