The victim with traces of violent death at the end of April last year in her house was discovered by a neighbor, while two mobile phones were stolen from the woman. In addition, a 36-year-old resident of the village died due to the aggressors’ fault. He was blown up by an enemy mine,” the police reported.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
Russian occupiers captured Kherson and almost the entire Kherson region at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, in February – March 2022.
In November, the defense forces of Ukraine liberated the right-bank part of the Kherson region, together with the regional center, from the Russian occupiers.
