The Russian Federation’s Shahed attack on Kharkiv: 47 people injured, over 90 buildings damaged

On the evening of April 29, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with 16 drones. The liquidation of the consequences of the drone attack is ongoing in Kharkiv.

Chairman Igor Terekhov reported this on April 30. According to him, five districts were hit by the “shaheeds”.

In total, 47 Kharkiv residents were injured as a result of this attack, including two children and a pregnant woman. Among them are patients in serious condition.

The chairman reported that the explosions damaged 85 houses, including private ones. In particular, in the Slobidskyі district, a direct hit of the “shaheed” on a high-rise building was recorded, as a result of which apartments were destroyed. Their residents were offered accommodation in dormitories.

In addition, two hospitals were damaged as a result of the massive attack. Patients in medical institutions were not injured – they were promptly transferred to wards with intact windows.

Power supply networks and civilian enterprises were also damaged.

According to the Department of Housing and Communal Services, at least 93 buildings were damaged in the Kyiv, Slobodskyі and Saltivskyі districts.

2.2 thousand windows and 220 balcony panes were broken there, and 13 roofs, 19 doors and structural elements in eight buildings were damaged. Municipal services began eliminating the consequences of the attack at night.
