The captured Zaporizhzhіa Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) becomes the site of looting and illegal removal of equipment under the leadership of the Russian-appointed deputy director, Eduard Atakishchev.
This was reported in the press service of the Center of National Resistance.
According to reports from local residents, Atakischev, on secondment from Rostov, actively helps the Russian military in the removal of non-commissioned equipment from the station. He is responsible for signing fictitious agreements that legitimize the transfer of this property to the needs of Russian forces. This equipment is then placed on the territory controlled by the Russian military.
Atakischev moves exclusively surrounded by the military and almost never appears in Energodar. He spends most of his time in Moscow, where he coordinates his activities with the national defense management center of the Russian Federation. This shows that the Russian leadership is systematically turning the ZNPP into a military facility.
Local residents express deep concern over such actions. The transformation of a nuclear power plant into an object of looting and military activity creates serious security threats.
Such actions by the Russians may lead to unforeseen consequences, including potential accidents at the station. Critical infrastructure under the control of the military becomes even more vulnerable to various risks, including technical failures and environmental disasters.
The situation at the ZNPP remains tense. Local residents and station workers live in constant fear due to the military presence and the risks of looting.
