The Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih took the lives of six people

On the morning of July 31, the Russians struck Kryvyi Rih with two rockets, hitting a residential high-rise and an educational institution.

The number of people killed as a result of a missile attack by Russian troops on Kryvyi Rih has increased to six, another 75 people were injured, there may be people under the rubble, Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets reported on Monday: “Due to the Russian terrorist attack in Kryvyi Rih, 5 people have already died, including a ten-year-old girl. She and her mother lived on the eighth floor, where the rocket landed in the morning.”

According to local journalists, the woman’s name was Natalya, and her daughter was Dasha.

It is also known about 53 wounded, among them 5 children. According to the Ombudsman, three of the victims are in serious condition.

As Lubinets noted, there may still be people under the concrete debris. Work continues.

In Kryvyi Rih, during rescue operations, a high-rise building destroyed by an attack by Russian troops collapsed. The residents of the building and journalists were at a safe distance, and the rescuers managed to jump back.

The footage published on the social network shows how a part of the structure of the house suddenly collapsed directly on the heads of the rescuers who were engaged in clearing the rubble. In the high-rise building, which was hit by a Russian rocket, the section from the 4th to the 9th floor was destroyed.

Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, reported that the number of victims of the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih had increased: “We are losing ours… Already 6!! dead in Kryvyi Rih. The injured at this hour are 75, including six children. Of the 22 hospitalized, two heavy. Tomorrow the city is in mourning…”.

As a result of a Russian rocket hitting a nine-story residential building, 32 apartments were destroyed, and another 37 were damaged, the State Emergency Service reported.

The building of the educational institution was also partially destroyed.
