The Russians seek to compensate for their military losses.
In the temporarily occupied communities of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, the Russians began the forced mobilization of men into the ranks of the Russian army. Special attention is paid to farmers who are threatened with fines.
In this way, the Russians are trying to compensate for the losses of their troops.
In a number of towns and villages, the Russians sent a letter to farms demanding that all men of conscription age immediately register for military service. Failure to comply is threatened with a fine of 400,000 rubles (about 160,000 hryvnias – ed.), but payment does not guarantee that one will not be drafted into the army of the aggressor country.
The activation of forced mobilization is caused by the need to cover the losses of Russian personnel, as well as a decrease in support for the war among the population of the Russian Federation.
According to the information of intelligence officers, the Kremlin does not yet want to announce a large-scale wave of mobilization in Russia on the eve of the elections, so men in the occupied territories will once again be under a new wave of pressure.
Compulsion to serve in the Russian army can affect men aged 18 to 65, as well as 16-17-year-old teenagers.
The Russians have created a database of residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, who are suspected of “disloyalty”. The filling of the base is carried out by employees of the GRU and the FSB of the Russian Federation, assisted by local occupation “administrations”.
