The Russians are deliberately shelling the forests of Kharkiv Region to detonate mines

In the Kharkiv Region, a forest is burning in the Balakliа Forestry, the fire was caused by the Russians.

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.

According to the head of the region, the fighters of the State Emergency Service are taking all necessary measures to eliminate the fire. First of all, it is about blocking fire in front of populated areas.

“This is actually artificial arson with projectiles. This is the enemy specifically hitting forest plantations. And we actually had fires in four districts. And unfortunately, the weather outside only contributes to this,” Synegubov said.

Firefighters cannot enter the forest plantations themselves, because the territories are mined. So burning is accompanied by constant detonation.
