Russians in occupied Mariupol are threatening local residents with deportation after the New Year in order to make room for their soldiers. Looting and robbery are also flourishing in the city.
Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the chairman of Mariupol, said: “The situation in the city is critical. The storm caused great destruction and flooding. Added to this were the consequences of our attack on the infrastructure. Therefore, there were problems with heating and electricity. 2/3 of the city was left without light and heat.”
However, according to him, the storm stopped the movement of equipment and manpower of the Russians for a day. However, active work of enemy aviation was observed. Moreover, the planes flew very close to the front line, which had not happened for a long time.
“Our resistance forces claim that there was no mysterious death of 6 Russians. Perhaps it is informational and psychological operation (IPSO) with the aim of forcing the leaders of the resistance to show themselves somehow. The Russians have recently been actively trying to identify the resistance movement. Therefore, we must be very active with Russian information,” Andryushchenko emphasized.
He added that the Russians are threatening local deportation after the New Year. Three options are considered. One – to Ukraine across the border with the Sumy region, the second – to Belarus, the third – to the Baltic countries. In the latter case, Ukrainians will be used to create a migration crisis. Perhaps migrants from Palestine will be mixed with them.
There are no specific reasons for deportation. They just want to make room for their army. They have not yet completed the railway to Mariupol. However, the road will probably be ready in the spring. The bridge is almost built. The movement of Russians through Mariupol is standard – to Berdyansk and Tokmak,” Andryushchenko emphasized.
There are also 20-ton trucks going to Novoazovsk. It is very difficult to understand what they have.
“For the last 2-3 weeks, we have been observing completely new units coming from Russia. They have become much younger. They used to be of different ages. Now they are up to 35 years old. Many of them explain that they went to fight because they have to pay loans. Marauders are actively robbing apartments in Mariupol. Looting is increasing,” Andryushchenko summarized.
