The Russians are purposefully shelling forests in the Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv region, the army of the Russian Federation specifically attacks forest areas. Oleh Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, says this.

According to him, abnormal heat contributes to forest fires.

Eliminating fires is complicated by constant repeated strikes.

“Forests are burning in the Kupyansk and Vovchansk directions. In some places, Russians are specially hit on forest plantations. This causes us quite big problems, because the units of the State Emergency Service cannot eliminate fires in the forests, because they are mined,” added the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
