On October 16, the Russian army attacked the Kharkiv region with 12 guided aerial bombs. Among them, the Russians released four bombs in the direction of Kharkiv.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.
It is noted that all the strikes near Kharkiv took place in an open area, so far there is no information about the victims.
“There were also attacks in the north of our territory. There is the destruction of objects and injured civilians. We also recorded assault actions in the Lipetsk and Vovchan directions, but the Russians are not allowed to the positions of our troops,” Sinegubov explained.
The head of the regional military administration also added that, in view of the security situation, on October 15, the general evacuation of all residents of the Kupyan community was announced at the Regional Defense Council. Therefore, 300 people have already left for safe places, the work continues. In total, more than 3,500 residents live in the community.
And in Borova, Izyum district, they are considering the expediency of declaring a general evacuation, as in Kupyansk.
As of October 16, 119 children still remain in Borova village of Izyum district. All of them are subject to compulsory evacuation in a forced manner.
Currently, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration has decided to establish a crossing over the Oskil River in only one direction — to the exit. That is, in this way, to make it impossible for evacuated people to return.
At the same time, not all people make the decision to leave because they cannot dare to leave their home and farm.
