The Russians attacked Kherson on the night of February 5 – burning private houses

On the night of February 5, Russian troops stormed Kherson, provoking fires in two private houses in a residential quarter.

“Kherson region: another restless night for rescuers. Russians targeted one of the city’s residential districts. Fires broke out in private houses at two addresses.

Despite constant repeated shelling, the rescuers managed to put out the fires by morning.”

According to Mrochka, on the night of February 5, Russian troops fired 11 times on the settlements of the Kherson urban territorial community and used 46 shells for this.

Hits were recorded in Kherson, Sadovoy, Prydniprovsky and Antonivka. However, there are no injured in Kherson city territorial community.

In total, on February 5, Russian troops carried out 36 shellings in the Kherson region, firing 132 shells, using artillery, mortars, MLRS and unmanned aerial vehicles. The Russians sent 32 shells through the city of Kherson, Prokudin said.

The Russian military entered the residential quarters of the population centers of the region and the museum in Kherson.

One person was injured.

At one o’clock in the morning, the Russians stormed the cathedral in the center of Kherson. A fragment of the projectile got stuck in the installation of the Easter egg, which is installed in the courtyard of the church. The Holy Assumption Cathedral itself was fired upon from the central entrance – its walls were hacked, and the windows were cracked.

Rescuers extinguished fires in the Ship district of the regional center until the morning. As a result of shelling, several private houses caught fire at the same time.

Firefighters extinguished the fire – under repeated enemy fire, utility workers tried to restore the power supply, which disappeared after the attack. Meanwhile, gas workers were eliminating accidents on the damaged gas pipeline of suburban villages – Sadovoy, Prydniprovskyi and Antonivka.
