On October 3, Russian troops carried out 82 shellings of the border areas of the Sumy region, recording 160 explosions.
During the day, shelling covered Sumy, Mykolaiv, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Myropil, Bilopol, Rychkiv, Krasnopil, Velikopysariv, Novoslobid, Glukhiv, Shalygin, Esman, Seredino-Bud communities. In particular, three explosions from mortars and one explosion from FPV drones were recorded in the Seredino-Budsk community.
In the Esman community, there were six explosions from guided aerial bombs, 12 from mortars, five FPV drone strikes and four artillery shells. The Bilopol community was also hit by guided aerial bombs (eight explosions) and mortar shelling (eight explosions).
In the Krasnopil community, the enemy used artillery (11 explosions) and mortars (15 explosions), as well as dropped VOG from a UAV (seven explosions). The Sumy community was attacked by a Geran-2 UAV, as a result of which eight people were injured.
In other communities, numerous attacks have been reported, including FPV drone strikes and MLRS attacks.
Also, on October 3, Russian troops attacked the Sumy region with Geran-2 type UAVs, as a result of which eight people were injured.
