The Russians attacked the residential sector in Donetsk region. Two people died, eight were injured

On January 24, Russian troops struck the residential sector in the city of Hirnyk, Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, 2 people died and 8 people were injured. This was reported by the State Service for Emergency Situations: “Today, the Russians attacked a private residential sector in the city of Hirnyk. Rescuers found an injured child at the scene of the attack, who was given first aid and transported to the hospital.” It is indicated that the rescuers removed the body of the dead woman from under the rubble of the house. The work is completed.

“In general, as a result of shelling, previously, 9 people were injured, 2 more people died,” the State Emergency Service informed.

According to the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, the Russians attacked the city around 4:00 p.m. Among the wounded is a 16-year-old boy – he is in an extremely serious condition.

He informed that 2 high-rise buildings and 43 private houses on five streets were damaged.
