The Russians carried out almost 2,300 strikes on Donetsk region: there are casualties and significant destruction

On August 30, the police recorded 2,256 Russian attacks on the front line and residential areas of Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, two people died, nine more were injured.

This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

As a result of shelling, the cities of Hirnyk, Kurakhove, Lyman, Toretsk, the villages of Malynivka, Minkivka, Oleksiivka, Rai-Olexandrivka 20 civilian objects were damaged, including 13 residential buildings, a hospital and shops

In Kurakhovo, one person was killed and six others were injured as a result of the Uragan anti-aircraft missile and artillery strikes. An apartment building, five private homes, a hospital, shops and shopping pavilions were damaged.

One person was killed and three private homes were damaged in Hirnik, a civilian was injured in Toretsk, and a private house was destroyed.

After midnight, Russian attacks were recorded on the territory of Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, Dobropilly and Bilytskyi, where two people were injured in Dobropilly. At least 23 civilian buildings, including 12 apartment buildings, were damaged.

The police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding violations of the laws and customs of war.

“Another 3,468 people were evacuated with the help of the police, including 365 children. “Since the beginning of mandatory evacuation, 252,890 people have been evacuated, including 29,709 children, 8,046 people with disabilities,” the message reads.
