The Russians carried out an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of Sumy Region: one person was injured

On the afternoon of April 16, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of the Yampil community in Sumy Region, as a result of which a man was wounded.

According to the investigation, on April 16 around 3:00 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the Russian army carried out an airstrike on the territory of the Yampil community of Shostkinsky district.

As a result of the Russian attack, the property of two private enterprises was damaged, in particular, industrial premises and a vehicle, and a 29-year-old businessman was also injured.

Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
