The Russian military forces residents of the Zaporizhzhia region to obtain medical insurance, which requires a Russian passport. The same insurance cannot be used everywhere.
This was reported by the chairman of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov: “The Russians once again forbade our residents to use medical services in the temporarily occupied territory, forcing them to obtain insurance for the provision of medical services, but this insurance can only be used in Crimea or the Russian Federation.”
According to him, hospitals in Crimea are overcrowded with residents from the temporarily occupied territory, because it is impossible to get high-quality medical care in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
