The Russians dropped two guided aerial bombs in the Kherson region, killing three

On May 2, Russian troops dropped two guided aerial bombs on an island near the village of Veletenske in the Kherson region, killing three people and injuring five more. This was reported by the head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak.

Earlier, the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office reported that on May 2, Russian troops shelled Kherson and several villages in the Bilozer community, killing three people and injuring five others. The Russians fired artillery and launched airstrikes. A criminal case has been opened for violation of the laws and customs of war.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, reported that the terrorist country struck the villages of Veletenske and Kizomys.

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, previously said that the Russians release about 20 guided aerial bombs over Ukraine every day, which hit civilian objects.

The Air Force also reported that the Russian military began to use aerial bombs more actively for strikes on Ukrainian territory, because they have a large stockpile, and converting them into guided ones for the enemy is cheaper and faster than producing missiles.

On May 2, the Russians once again struck the territory of the Bilozer community. The villages of Kizomys and Veletenske came under fire.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Currently, we know of one dead person in Veletenskyi – this is a 28-year-old man.

Also, four injured people were taken to the Kherson hospital, the report says.

Due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, 94 children were injured in the Kherson region.
