The Russians continue to export Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territories of our country. This year, Russians are taking grain from captured Luhansk region to Iran.
This was reported by the Center of National Resistance. According to their information, the Russian Federation has created a new logistics route for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. In particular, grain from Luhansk Region is transported by train to the Caspian Sea, and from there to Iran.
“At the same time, the Russian Federation is not satisfied with the fall in yields in the Temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, although the reason is the destruction of the irrigation system by the Kremlin itself as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP dam,” the Center of National Resistance adds.
Moscow’s dissatisfaction is explained by the reports of the Russian “authority” of the occupied territories. For example, recently a collaborator, the Gauleiter of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, complained about the lack of grain and at the same time boasted about “help” – grain from the occupied part of the Luhansk region.
Former People’s Deputy and before that the head of Kherson Saldo became a collaborator in 2022. And in the autumn of the same year, he created a “temporary administration” at the seized PJSC “Khersonsk Bakery Combine”. At that time, more than 30,000 tons of grain were stored there, which Saldo ordered to be removed.
Although the collaborator wants to look like a skillful leader and announces the grain “aid” to Kherson Oblast from Luhansk Oblast as a victory, this news shocked people in the occupied territory of the south. Before the large-scale invasion, Kherson Oblast never knew problems with grain, and even in 2022-23, it harvested a good harvest.
And the reason for the insufficient harvest this year is not only the destruction of the irrigation system, but also the fact that the Russians either take the harvest from the peasants or buy it for nothing.
In 2023 alone, Ukraine lost at least 8.5 million tons of harvest due to the occupation of the southern and eastern regions.
Meanwhile, Russia began selling grain from the aggressor-occupied territories of southern Ukraine to Venezuela. The first shipment of stolen Melitopol wheat was delivered by the ship “Yenisei” in April this year.
