The Russians fired from a tank at Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region: there are casualties

A man was killed and three local residents were injured in the shelling in Kozacha Lopan.

In the Kharkiv region, a man died and three more local people were injured.

Under the leadership of the Dergachev district prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws of war has been launched. These charges are combined in the case of premeditated murder, in accordance with Article 438, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on August 14, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Russian military shelled the center of the urban-type village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district. According to preliminary findings, this incident was caused by tank shelling.

A 33-year-old civilian man died as a result of the incident. Also, three civilians were injured: men aged 43, 55 and 68. All the victims were taken to the hospital.

A shop, an administrative building and residential buildings were damaged.

Prosecutors and police investigators collected evidence and documented the traces of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

On the night of July 31, during an air raid, explosions occurred in Kharkiv, which caused shelling by Russian troops. As a result of one of the explosions, the warehouse of a commercial enterprise was damaged and a fire broke out on an area of ​​approximately 200 square meters. A man who was near the place of the explosion was injured.

Meanwhile, in the territory of the temporarily occupied Kharkiv region, the Russians announced the beginning of an “evacuation” allegedly due to increased shelling from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The woman and the child were taken to a medical facility with shrapnel injuries. This was reported in the communication department of the police of the Kharkiv region.

On August 14, around 2:00 p.m., the Russians shelled the village of Bugaivka in the Vovchan territorial community of the Chuguyiv district with artillery.

A residential building and an outbuilding were damaged. A 62-year-old woman and a 14-year-old child were injured. The injured were taken to a hospital in Kharkiv.

The investigative and operative group of the police department No. 1 of the Chuguyiv district police department, experts and explosives technicians went to the scene of the incident.

According to the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
