On July 27, the Russian army shelled the Sumy region, in particular the Glukhiv community, as a result of which more than 10 people were injured. This was reported by the press service of the regional military administration.
According to the regional military administration, the Russians fired from multiple rocket launchers. In total, 12 explosions were recorded in the community.
Currently, all the necessary assistance is provided to the victims. Emergency and rescue services work at the place of arrival.
As a result of the shelling, several cars and commercial establishments were also damaged. The Hlukhiv hospital could not confirm the exact age of the victims, because one of them was brought without documents. People are given help with all their might.
A 14-year-old child and a 58-year-old man were injured.
The consequences of the Russian attack are being clarified, the regional military administration added.
The regional prosecutor’s office reported: “As a result of the shelling, 13 civilians were injured, including 7 children. After some time, the 14-year-old boy died in the hospital,” the message reads.
On the night of July 25 and in the morning, the Russians fired 15 times at the border and populated areas of the Sumy region, using mines, artillery and drones, the regional military administration informed.
