The Russians have already destroyed and damaged more than 116,000 residential buildings in Donetsk region

The number of residential buildings in Donetsk region that the Russians have already destroyed and damaged in the region has been made public.

Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk regional state administration, told about it.

Since February 24, 2022, the occupying forces have destroyed and damaged at least 116,000 residential buildings, including 7,000 high-rise buildings.

In addition, 70 settlements near the front line have now been cut off due to constant shelling.

He emphasized that despite constant challenges and extreme conditions, specialists (services) make every effort to carry out repair works in the region. Power and water supply lines are a priority. Also repairing roofs and windows where people still live.

At the same time, Vadym Filashkin noted that due to the actions of the enemy, the implementation of such works is often complicated, and sometimes impossible:

“Marinka is completely destroyed, Ugledar almost does not exist. There are many such places on the front line. Bakhmut and Avdiivka are almost gone. “Lyman, Toretsk, New York, Ocheretynsk community are 80% destroyed, Krasnohorivka – 70-80%,” said Vadym Filashkin.
