In the afternoon of April 25, the Russians shelled Balaklia, Kharkiv region. The hit was recorded near the railway station, 10 victims are currently known. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.
“The Russians hit Balaklia in the Izyum district. There is a hit near the railway station,” Sinegubov wrote.
First, he announced that there were five victims – two men and three women. However, he later added that the number of injured increased to 7, and over time – to 10. Currently, all emergency services are working at the site of the impact.
“The Russians hit the railway station with a rocket when the victims were in the passenger cars of the electric train “Kharkiv – Izyum”. Three women aged 37, 47, 60 and four men aged 39, 49, 49 and 62 received explosive injuries of varying degrees as a result of Russian shelling. They are provided with help in a medical facility,” Sinegubov added.
In the building of the railway station, all the windows were blown out and the roof was damaged. The electric train, which was located 15 meters from the epicenter of the hit during the Russian shelling, was also damaged.
Currently, the liquidation of the consequences of another Russian shelling on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv region continues.
