The Russian army hit Kherson and the surrounding area with prohibited incendiary munitions on the morning of June 26, the Kherson regional military administration reported: “In the morning, the enemy set fire to the residential quarters of Kherson and Antonivka. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings burned down, water pipelines, gas pipelines and critical infrastructure were damaged.”
The fire has already been extinguished by rescuers who quickly arrived at the scene. Civilians were not injured.
On the morning of June 25, Russian troops shelled Kherson. As a result of a projectile hitting a five-story residential building under rubble, a man died. According to preliminary data, the Russian Federation fired artillery at the city. As a result of the shelling, private and apartment buildings were damaged.
In total, on June 25, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region almost a hundred times. 17 shells flew over Kherson. As a result of enemy shelling in the region, one person died. Seven more civilians were injured.
