The Russians hit the center of Zaporizhzhia with guided air bombs: there are casualties

On the evening of October 19, Russian troops bombarded Zaporizhzhia with two guided aerial bombs. People were injured as a result of the attack.

This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.

As of 9:17 p.m., the number of victims has increased to 8, including two girls aged 9 and 13. The children are in the hospital. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.

The Russians targeted the city center. The blast wave and debris damaged 12 houses in three districts of the city. The blast wave broke windows and damaged the facades of shops and pharmacies. City services conduct their examination. All utilities are on site. One of the guided aerial bombs fell near a hypermarket, the other fell in the middle of a flower bed on the road side of the street.

Back in September, Russian aerial bombs began to regularly hit the city. The defense forces of the south said that the Russians were able to change the design of guided aerial bombs, which is why these weapons are capable of hitting Zaporizhzhia.

On October 18, the Russians carried out 243 strikes on 7 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, the regional military administration said.
