The Russians hit the grain infrastructure of Sumy Region with missiles

In the Sumy region, the Russians launched missile attacks on the grain infrastructure – prosecutors are documenting the consequences.

This is stated in the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on August 23, at around 12:00 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the Russians launched missile strikes on the grain infrastructure of the Stepaniv community of the Sumy district and the town of Glukhiv, Shostkinsky district.

Three employees of the agricultural enterprise were injured.

Investigators, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, document the consequences of shelling. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
