The Russians hit the local market in Vovchansk: a civilian resident died on the spot

Under the procedural leadership of the Vovchan department of the Chuguyiv district prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This was reported in the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on February 13, around 10:50 a.m., the Russians fired at the central market of the city of Vovchansk. A 61-year-old woman died.

A 50-year-old civilian was also injured and was hospitalized.

Previously, the Russians hit the city with artillery.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, collected evidence and recorded the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
