On April 12, Russian troops carried out another airstrike on the civilian infrastructure and residential sector of the city of Sumy. As a result of the impact, three people were injured.
This was reported by the military regional administration. The military regional administration added that a fire occurred in a non-residential building due to the actions of the Russian Federation. It was eliminated by the employees of the State Emergency Service.
In addition, windows of two non-residential administrative premises and 73 windows in three residential buildings were damaged in the city. The city authorities also made public the consequences of the Russian shelling.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” clarified that as a result of the Russian shelling at the station, there were no casualties, as all passengers and employees of the station were in shelters. There is damage to the station windows, but the tracks are intact, so trains will arrive and depart on schedule, railway officials added.
On April 11, Russian troops attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, civilians were injured, including a minor.
