The Russians increased the shelling of Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs 37 times compared to 2023

Russian troops are intensifying attacks on the Kharkiv region, mostly using guided aerial bombs. Since the beginning of this year, more than 3,700 anti-aircraft missile strikes have been recorded, and in 2023 there were more than 100 such strikes.

This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko on October 24.

According to him, most of the affected targets are energy and civil infrastructure.

Klymenko said that during the meeting with the leadership of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the city council and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they discussed preparations for the winter season and the functioning of services in conditions of possible blackouts.

According to him, the State Emergency Service together with the regional military administration installed more than 20 mobile gas boilers to provide residents of high-rise buildings with alternative sources of heat.

Around 10:00 a.m. on October 24, troops of the aggressor country, Russia, attacked the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. 10 residents were injured, an elderly woman was killed, the head of the regional military administration Oleg Synegubov, the local police and the prosecutor’s office reported.
