The Russians carried out more than 70 attacks on the territory of the Sumy region during the day from June 28 to 29. 27 settlements in ten communities came under fire.
This was reported by the press service of the Sumy regional military administration.
The Sumy, Shostka and Konotop districts suffered the most hits. There were no casualties, but damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded.
The aggressor massively used various types of weapons, carrying out more than 30 drops of VOG from drones, up to 20 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems, strikes by FPV drones, guided aerial bombs and other UAVs.
Consequences of Russian shelling of the Sumy region during the day of June 28-29: Novoslobodsk community – Russians damaged private residential buildings, Velykopysarivska community – invaders hit one of the infrastructure facilities.
During June 28-29, four people were evacuated from the border areas by joint efforts of local authorities, the State Emergency Service, the National Police and volunteer organizations.
During the day, the air alert in the region lasted 14 hours and 05 minutes.
