The Russians continue to terrorize Kharkiv.
On September 24, Kharkiv was massively shelled by the Russians from aviation. Hitting by guided aerial bombs, weighing half a ton, was recorded at once in four districts of the city. Private houses and businesses were destroyed. One of the bombs hit a residential high-rise.
Russian troops hit a residential building with an aerial bomb: instead of apartments on at least five floors – a huge hole. Emergency services immediately arrived at the scene.
Meanwhile, the police went around each apartment, recording all the destruction. Medics initially reported three injured people, but within an hour dozens of injured people were counted.
This house is in the world-famous area of Northern Saltivka. The outskirts of the city, which the Russians destroyed with artillery at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This is not the first time the enemy has hit this high-rise building.
“We were already finishing the repair of this building. Because it was destroyed by the Russians in May 2022. All the windows have already been inserted here, all the walls have been repaired. It was prepared for the heating season and today a controlled aerial bomb arrived, which nullified these efforts,” says the director Yury Sydorenko of the Department of Public Relations of the Kharkiv City Council.
In one of the apartments, there was only a cupboard with dishes. In another, the jacket miraculously held on to the hanger. Until late at night, the rescuers manually sorted out the rubble of the house, and the law enforcement officers were able to establish the type of weapon in the meantime.
“A very massive attack from the Russian side. From the settlement of Stroitel in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. Three SU-34 aircraft launched 8 guided aerial bombs within 15 minutes starting at 3:15 p.m. According to preliminary data, it is the FAB from the UMPK,” says the head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office Oleksandr Filchakov.
500-kilogram bombs hit four districts of Kharkiv. This is footage of a mutilated enterprise. A guard died there. Another man was killed by shrapnel while walking his dog in the stadium.
In total, 3 people died in Kharkiv due to massive shelling, and more than 30 others were injured.
Later the body of another dead woman was found under the rubble of a house destroyed as a result of an attack by the Russian army on September 24. The number of dead has increased to four.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov. An enemy FAB-500 from the UMPK hit a nine-story residential building.
“As a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv, four people died. Rescuers unblocked the body of the dead woman,” the report says.
