In the temporarily occupied Henichesk district, the Russians opened several torture chambers based on FSB points. In particular, in Henichesk, Henicheska Hirka, Chongar and Shchaslyvtsevo.
Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, the head of the press office of the Kherson regional military administration, reports this.
According to his data, the Russians continue to carry out filtering measures in the captured communities of the Kherson region – they search people and check their phones. And those who actively express a pro-Ukrainian position are taken to an unknown destination. Not everyone returns from there: “The relatives do not know what is happening to these people, what is happening to their relatives, but they cannot talk about it, because they are also threatened to keep silent. That is why the situation is difficult.”
He also reported that the occupiers are forcibly mobilizing men aged 25 to 50 who have received Russian passports. Prospective conscripts are stopped at roadblocks, served with summonses and sent to “training”.
“People are called to join the so-called “protection battalions”, which will supposedly fight against the Ukrainian movement and protect some objects. But people understand that this is death or maiming. Because these people will most likely go in the first ranks, because nobody will not regret it. The Russians will send them in the first ranks so that these people fight with their country. That’s why there are not many willing ones,” Tolokonnikov added.
On the morning of May 11, in the temporarily occupied Heniche district, the Russian military carried out filtering operations. In particular, mobile phones of local residents were checked and whether they had Russian passports. The Russians conducted their so-called “roundups” under the guise of Russian Guard exercises. They also recorded everything on camera, as during operative and investigative actions.
