The Russian military closed the temporarily occupied city of Oleshki to entry and exit. This became known from local telegram channels.

In particular, it is reported that the Russians do not release cars from the city on the way to the village of Velyki Kopani, where there is a large wholesale market. The reason for such a decision is still unknown.

On October 17, the local so-called “administration” announced the cancellation of bus flights from Oleshok scheduled for this week for unknown reasons, they did not say when the buses will start again.

Earlier it became known about the successful raid of the armed forces of Ukraine in the Oleshkiv district. In particular, the DeepStateMap expanded the “gray zone” to the settlements of Pishchanivka and Poima. Earlier, Russian propagandists stated that the specified villages were taken under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Operational Command “South” refused to comment on the events on this front, saying that the situation is under control.
