The Russians plan to increase the theft of Ukrainian gas on the Arabatskaya Streltka fivefold

In the occupied Kherson region, the Russians plan to significantly increase the production of Ukrainian gas from the field in the village of Strilkove on the Arabatsky Strilka. As reported by the occupation mass media, after the reconstruction of the gas pipeline in Henichesk, the supply productivity will increase fivefold — from 100 to 500,000 cubic meters of gas per day.

The Russians are trying to justify this step by improving the “reliability” of gas supply for local residents, especially in winter. According to Maria Lopatina, the head of the gas industry department of the so-called “ministry” of the occupation administration, the reconstruction work should be completed before the beginning of the heating season.

In fact, the occupation authorities are trying to gain control over even greater amounts of Ukrainian natural resources. This indicates further deepening of the exploitation of Kherson Oblast for the invaders’ own needs.
